    Christel House India offers 100% free, quality education to students from the most under-resourced communities. Our holistic, character-based, and career-focused education supports students for 18 years, from Kindergarten to Grade 12, and continues for five years post–Grade 12.

    The main criteria for admission is not the evidence of talent, but the evidence of poverty. We follow robust and stringent admission procedures to ensure that the poorest of the poor are admitted to Christel House India.

    • We offer 105 seats in Kindergarten each year. Students are enrolled at age 5 into Kindergarten.
    • All children who come to Christel House Bangalore are from severely impoverished urban communities, shelters and low-income neighbourhoods. We serve Bangalore’s migrant, underserved population who have been settled in the city for over 5 years.
    • Children are selected from within a 26 km radius of the school.
    • The Christel House Admission Committee goes through each application and makes house visits for economic assessment and to understand the social conditions of the applicant’s family.
    • Preference is given to siblings of current students and children from single-parent homes and orphanages.
    • We offer 70 seats in Kindergarten each year. Students are enrolled at age 5 into Kindergarten.
    • All the children who come to Christel House Atal Nagar are from severely impoverished rural villages.
    • Children are selected from the impoverished rural villages of the Atal Nagar project area.
    • The Christel House Admission Committee goes through each application and makes house visits for economic assessment and to understand the social conditions of the applicant’s family.
    • Preference is given to siblings of current students and children from single-parent homes.
