Bangalore: The first Christel House India school opened in Bangalore in 2001 with 320 students. Today, our Bangalore school serves over 980 students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. The Bangalore campus educates students from kindergarten through grade 12. In 2025, the Bangalore school is growing, adding 50% more students. Atal Nagar: In 2016, we launched our second school in Atal Nagar, with 210 students from Kindergarten to Grade 2. Currently, the school serves nearly 840 students from Kindergarten to Grade 11. Our Atal Nagar school will add 70 Kindergarten students every year, until reaching full strength with 910 students, right up to Grade 12.
Pune: Christel House India will open its new Pune campus on April 2, 2026, welcoming 260 students from Kindergarten through Grade 2 for the school’s first academic term. CEO Jaison C Mathew reports that the team is ready to open the school, with teachers hired and arrangements made for student services such as transportation, uniforms, healthcare, and nutrition. The campus will be officially inaugurated on April 11, with state leaders expected to attend, marking an important milestone in expanding the Christel House model and bringing life-changing educational opportunity to children and families in Pune. The campus is located on 13 acres of land provided rent-free for 30 years by Pune ZP and FIAT Industries India. The school will grow annually to serve over 1,800 students through Grade 12 and beyond with the College & Careers program.
Thane: Christel House India will launch a fourth campus in Thane, located in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The collaboration with Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) will see the new school open in June 2026, located on a 60,500-square-foot campus provided rent-free by TMC. The facility will include 58 classrooms, four labs, a library, and an administration block. Initially serving up to 210 students in Kindergarten through Grade 2, the school will expand over time to some 1,150 students and graduates from Kindergarten through Grade 12 and the College & Careers program.
Recognising the urgent need for equitable access to quality learning in India, we are scaling our proven model to reach more underserved communities.
We plan to open a new school in Bangalore soon, with a vision to establish four additional schools across India by 2034. This expansion will grow our network to seven schools, enabling us to impact the lives of even more children and families.
