At Christel House India – Bangalore, Annual Day is a highly anticipated event for students, graduates and supporters. It’s an exciting day filled with student music, dance performances and colorful pageantry, saluting India’s rich culture and heritage. It’s also a day to celebrate Christel House.“Preparing students for the Annual Day program is a wonderful experience,” says Shiva Sagar, Math/Physics teacher and a Christel House alum who graduated in 2012. “This day brings me joy to see our kids display their talents and capabilities as a team.” Students from kindergarten through Grade 10 performed folk songs and dances showcasing the culture of Punjab, a state in Northern India. Students and alumni shared their Christel House stories, highlighting its positive impact on their lives. The Christel House Alumni Group presented President and CEO Bart Peterson with a check to help support the next generation of students. “Christel House, like India, is a combination of cultures and traditions,” says Charitra M., Grade 12. “On Annual Day these talents fuse together to showcase the beauty and heritage of our country.”
