100% Transparency and Accountability
All general, administrative and fundraising expenses are borne by Christel House International's Founder and Chairman of the Board, Christel DeHaan. This ensures that 100% of your contribution supports our holistic human development programs. Christel House India also guarantees 100% transparency and accountability and welcomes all existing and prospective donors to verify any financial transactions, without prior notice
Christel House India is a registered Not for Profit Organization, under Section 25 of Companies Act, 1956 and a Charity under Section 12 A of Income Tax Act 1961. All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed under section 80G of the Income Tax Act 1961.
One hundred percent of your contributions are applied to our programs and services and are not used for any administrative expenses, professional solicitors or fundraising consultants.
We believe that all children deserve an equal opportunity to develop their potential. That's why Christel House gives severely impoverished children a level of care and education that is comparable to that in the best private schools. Our goal is for every child to achieve his or her personal best. Sometimes this means we will help the child secure a university scholarship; other times, we help children get an apprenticeship or find respectable employment. But always, we work to find ways to support their career objectives so that every Christel House graduate becomes a self-sufficient and productive member of our society.
Achieving these outcomes requires highly qualified and committed staff members who are current in the latest teaching methodologies. It requires students to have access to a comprehensive healthcare program, nutritious food and a strong character development program. Because our children return to their families each night, we also have an outreach program to address parent and community needs.
This comprehensive program requires significant funding. Christel DeHaan, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Christel House International, bears all administrative expenses, but funds are needed to run the daily expenses of operating the school. So 100% of all donations go towards meeting these direct expenses. Christel House India is run by an independent Board of Directors, who believe in and ensure total integrity and transparency in all our work.
Please join us and help these children break the cycle of poverty and become contributing members of our society.
You can help in two ways. You can give a contribution, as a donor, to the various facets of running the school. You can also give us your time and expertise and become a volunteer.
Thank you for partnering with us to create change in society, a child at a time.
