South Africa, India create "Images of Spain"

Students from Christel House India and Christel House South Africa are sharing their artistic talents. Dozens of children from both schools were commissioned to create paintings to be displayed at resorts in Malaga and Tenerife, Spain. Their goal – to capture and explore Spanish culture through art. For the students, the project was a learning opportunity to study Spanish customs and lifestyles. The young artists used acrylics and other mediums to create 150 paintings. The “Images of Spain” results are amazing! Each painting will be framed and include a biography of the Christel House artist who created it. Sandhya B., a ninth grader at Christel House India says the creative process brings her joy. “Painting is not just colors – it is the happiness within us.”
