Some of the key initiatives Grant Thornton INDUS supports us with are the iMentor program; the scholarship program for deserving undergraduates (B.Com.); educating and empowering students from the grade 12 commerce stream; and the nutrition program for our school kids. The iMentor program is designed to empower our students with essential skills, mentorship, professional networks, and real-world exposure—helping them gain a strong foothold in the corporate world even before they step into it. As part of this initiative, college students are paired with a Grant Thornton INDUS mentor who guides them over 6-8 weeks, sharing invaluable experiences and insights to help them align their skills with long-term career goals. Through this mentorship, mentees gain firsthand exposure to the corporate world—an opportunity rarely available in traditional college education. The iMentor program has played a transformative role in equipping our mentees with invaluable insights into organizational dynamics and career pathways. The program has significantly enhanced their understanding of available opportunities and the skills needed to succeed.

Additionally, the team conducts career counseling and computer skills training sessions for our high school students. These interactive sessions provide students with valuable insights into various career paths and the steps needed to achieve their professional goals. The computer skills training component ensures that students are well-versed in essential digital tools and technologies, which are crucial for success in today’s job market. By equipping students with both career guidance and technical skills, we aim to bridge the gap between education and employment together, empowering them to make informed decisions about their futures and pursue their dreams with confidence.
