Our Children 
Confident, Smart, Enthusiastic, Resilient. These are the children of Christel House India. Their beaming faces are evidence of a new emerging social order, hope for the future of India. Instilled with an unwavering sense of self-worth, our students walk with their heads held high. Away from the hardships of their everyday lives, they can be children again, absorbed in their play, in a constant state of wonder at the world that has been revealed to them.
Where are they from?
Christel House India enrolls children from slums within 18 Kms from the Learning Centre. A prerequisite is that their total combined family income should be below Rs. 3,500/- per month and support 4 or more dependents. Nearly 1500 applications for admission are received every year. From these, seventy children are enrolled at the Kindergarten level. All these children undergo a screening test, both psychological and academic before enrollment. Preferences are given to orphans, single parent children and siblings
